IFS Election microsite
As a leading economic think tank, The IFS wanted to ensure their research for the upcoming election was as easy to find, easy to access and easy to understand as possible in order to inform the electoral debate. As the coverage would feature both topic and party related coverage, it was important to make the information easy to navigate, especially as much of the information would be time sensitive.
By creating a microsite to sit alongside their main website, it would be easy to collect and publish all relevant research. A site specific logo was used, drawing inspiration from election rosettes, which is used on the microsite, and as a navigation tool on the main site. The visual style maintains strong links with the main IFS brand, but carries enough distinction to demarcate that a separate site is being visited. The main navigation is by topic area as well as by a timeline – depending on the priority of the user.
